Meet the Actual Human Being behind all this...
Robbie Foulston is many things, but first and foremost he's a person, like you, committed to exploring what’s good in life and sharing it with others....
If you want to be a bit posh, you could called him a workshop facilitator, theatre practitioner, performer, and a playful researcher. If you wanted to be honest you’d call him a fool and a clown.
He has learned and nicked a lot of what he knows from his main clown teacher, Holly Stoppit.
If you’re interested to find out more about her, click here (you should, she’s very good).
He also holds a degree in Theatre and Performance from University of Warwick, and has trained in various other forms of profound silliness and wise nonsense with these lovely people: John Wright (theatre director, Told By An Idiot), Jonathan Kay (international fool), Jamie Catto (1 Giant Leap, Faithless), and Daniel Hernandez (Divine Ridiculous).
He’s worked a lot as a youth theatre director and creative education workshop leader for Leeds Playhouse (formerly West Yorkshire Playhouse), toured as a performer for Wrongsemble family theatre company, and is currently working as a freelance artist for the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh.
